A custom label is not an item identity
A name tag may express an owner's mood, a joke or a claimed special feature. Identify the underlying item through weapon, finish, exterior and variant. Do not copy the custom text into a market-name column: a later search can hide relevant offers or connect unrelated items. Keep both names separately during inspection so the label cannot replace the information needed to identify the individual candidate.
Separate the name from its claim
If a tag mentions a rare pattern, unusual provenance or high value, treat it as owner-provided wording. Confirmation must come from item attributes and inspection. 'Perfect' cannot establish float, and an event name cannot establish provenance. Check the relevant attribute separately. When the claim lacks evidence, retain it only as the custom label rather than a verified characteristic. This avoids converting decorative text into searchable factual metadata.
A search mistake example
Imagine a weapon named after another finish. In a screenshot, the label is more prominent than the standard title, so you search for offers using that wording. The results belong to a different design. Start the correction with the original item's complete details: copy model and finish, then restore exterior and variant restrictions. Do not try to reconstruct the original name from thumbnail color when its description is directly available.

A tag can be an independent cosmetic preference, but explain its role separately. Exclude it from automatic price grouping for the underlying item. If Russian and English names differ, use the localized identity guide. Find the base design in the skin finder before judging the label.
