Check the case before you confirm an opening

Answer these questions before a game operation. A third-party site case and an official CS2 container are different processes, even when their illustrations show familiar CS2 weapons.

Choose the check you need

Inspect an actual case pool

Open a case page and read its contents. A weapon category helps you find relevant pools; it does not guarantee that weapon as the result.

Understand the displayed value

Read how reference observations, site-inventory valuations and current offers differ before interpreting a result's displayed amount.

Understand where a result goes

Site inventory and Steam inventory need separate checks. An internal result record does not prove that a Steam transfer has finished.

Prepare the Steam account details

Use the guide to locate a trade URL safely. A correct URL alone does not establish eligibility or remove an account restriction.

Match each stage to evidence

A checklist before confirmation

  1. Set a limit before starting

Use only an amount you can afford to lose. A random result is not guaranteed profit and should not become a way to recover earlier spending.

  2. Read the current operation conditions

Check the 18+ requirement, eligibility in your country, cost, contents and feature availability. Opening a case cannot make a disabled feature available.

  3. Treat missing probability data as missing

If probabilities are unpublished or cannot be confirmed, record that limitation. Do not calculate a chance from the design of a card or animation.

  4. Check delivery separately

Read the service conditions and actual Steam account restrictions before attempting a transfer. Never send passwords or Steam tokens to support.

Random outcomes do not guarantee profit. This page does not certify payment or Steam-delivery availability; check the current service interface and terms. English editorial access does not establish eligibility for paid features in any region. Browsing the catalogue performs no game operation.

Source and scope

Steam Support advises checking the selected item's details to determine whether it is tradable. A third-party service's conditions and a completed transfer require separate verification.
