Inventory planning

Create a simple inventory planning spreadsheet

Build one table showing the item, decision status, fictional allowance and last review date beside each other.

Copy this worksheet into your document

RowItem / variantStatusPlanned cap, fictional unitsObserved pricePrice currencySource and date
AEnter complete nameselected20unknownunsetunchecked
BEnter complete nameselected15unknownunsetunchecked
CEnter complete nameselected10unknownunsetunchecked
DEnter complete namedeferred5unknownunsetunchecked

Copy the table into Excel, Google Sheets or a text document. The caps 20, 15, 10 and 5 are invented teaching allowances, not skin prices. Retain selected/deferred when using the formula below. Supply item identities and real observations yourself; an unknown price is not zero.

Formulas and an expected result

With headers in row 1, caps occupy D2:D5 and statuses C2:C5. Entire plan: =SUM(D2:D5), expected 50. Selected stage: =SUMIF(C2:C5,"selected",D2:D5), expected 45. Deferred:50 − 45 = 5. Local spreadsheet settings may require semicolons and localized function names; use the function assistant. Check50 / 45 / 5 before entering your own rows and expand both ranges when adding rows.

Never add different currencies or combine fictional allowances with observed prices.

Check completeness beside the total

All four example prices remain unchecked. Actual total cost is unknown even though the planned cap is 50. Record complete name, exterior, variant, currency, source and observation time for every verified price. Keep an older observation with its date; do not label it as current availability.

Save a copy and continue

Save a version before changing many statuses. Do not put Steam tokens, trade tokens or private inventory in a shared worksheet. The inventory builder can retain candidate names; it does not fill current market prices. This worksheet neither purchases items nor proves ownership.
